Stress prevention

Stress is actually our body’s natural reaction to a challenging situation and serves a purpose: the body releases stress hormones and within a fraction of a second creates extra energy – we can react at lightning speed. So stress can be quite positive, even intoxicating (eustress). But we experience constant and negative stress (distress) as threatening and overwhelming.

Everybody defines stress differently. What drives one person to the verge of a nervous breakdown isn’t a big deal for someone else. Objectively, stress occurs when we no longer feel we have sufficient resources to handle a situation.

These resources are missing mostly as a result of internal blockages such as fear, a feeling of powerlessness, or patterns of behaviour that block our energy.

By dissolving these blockages and finding the triggers to the causal situations and experiences that created them in the first place, energy and serenity are restored.
